BRINE LEAS SCHOOL

VISITORS to "A Dabber's Nantwich" request photos to evoke memories

CHARLOTTE Stewart, who's feeling "terribly homesick" in Cumbria, asked to see pictures of Brine Leas High School and the surrounding areas.

Having seen this page, Charlotte said: "Thank you so much, it is lovely to see the old place again! I spent five very happy years at Brine Leas up to 1985!

"I must say it is so strange to see all the housing developments in and around Nantwich. They were only just starting to build the Stapeley one when I left six years ago.

"When I managed to get back for a day a couple of years ago, I could not recognise the developments around Malbank and it took me ages to work out where the old lane that ran between Malbank and the canal now went! I used to regularly walk that road with my doberman when I was at school and loved the fact that I could see Nantwich Church across the fields. I assume that the houses have now blocked that view."

What would you ask to see? (See this page).
