A Letter from Nantwich update

November 2010

Now a restaurant

THE Swan with two Necks (Nicks) has now risen from the ashes (metaphorically; there wasn't a fire) of being a public house to become Firenza Italian restaurant.

We have restaurants and eateries all over town (see the websites page) but there is quite a cluster in Welsh Row.

Apropos of nothing, this side of Welsh Row is difficult to photograph in the sense that as it is north facing the sun hardly, if ever, shines on the face of the buildings. Note the sun-lit Cheshire Cat reflected in the window of the restaurant.

Chinese meals at The Leopard

THE Leopard Inn in London Road has tied up with Dragon Inn for Chinese meals and takeaways. Open six evenings a week (not Mondays), the venue will retain the Leopard's Wednesday evening Steak Night. E-mail bookings: dragoninn.leopard@gmail.com. Further information: www.dragonrestaurants.com/nantwich.
